My academic work has developed across the fields of philosophy, film and theatre studies, childhood studies, and pedagogy, and through sustained engagement with languages and multilingual contexts. After completing an MA in Philosophy at the University of Pune and an MPhil in Childhood Studies at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, I pursued doctoral research in pedagogy at the University of Bayreuth, where I completed my PhD in 2019 and subsequently undertook postdoctoral research and teaching.
Since 2021, I have served as Associate Professor in Pedagogy at the University of Stavanger, while continuing my affiliation with the University of Bayreuth as a visiting researcher. I am also co-director of the international research programme The Childism Institute.
Across these roles, my work has remained concerned with the historical marginalisation of childhood and its implications for education, coloniality, power, intergenerational sustainability, and post-qualitative methodologies.
